Your lending responsibilities require you to wear many hats – credit analyst, counselor, master or regulations and compliance, detective, teacher, salesperson, even fortune teller – when members ask, "Are rates going up?" The Consumer Lending Foundations eSchool teaches basic concepts in the lending process. You'll gain a strong foundation that helps you build long-term lending relationships with members.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND This course is beneficial for lending staff who wish to gain an understanding of all the components in the member lending process. The school is also appropriate for staff interested in expanding their lending knowledge for future responsibilities.

Most eSchool sessions are archived and available for purchase separately to share the training with other credit union staff.
ESCHOOL OVERVIEW
This program offers six sessions of live virtual classroom instruction lasting approximately two hours each, encompassing audio, lectures, group discussion, and live chats.
In addition to the live classroom events, students will engage in online activities, discussions, and additional readings. There are no fixed study hours for this portion of the course, giving students the flexibility to choose the best time each week to complete these activities. Students should expect to spend 3-6 hours each week on the course assignments in addition to the live classroom sessions.

CANCELLATIONS
The last day for cancellations was October 29, 2007. Substitutions are accepted anytime prior to the start of the program at no additional cost. Simply fax event and contact information, listing the new participant and who they will be replacing.
