ABOUT THIS ESCHOOL
Advance your ability to serve Spanish-speaking members by learning financial terms in their preferred language. Measure your training success and earn your CU Spanish: Level 1 certification. This eSchool is designed for all levels of credit union staff with previous Spanish-language experience who wish to learn credit union-specific financial terms. By attending this eSchool, you will also receive a spanish vocabulary CD to use as a reference.

To earn your level 1 CU Spanish Certification, students are required to pass a proctored midterm exam and final exam. Proctors and test locations are the responsibility of the registrant. When choosing your proctor it is important that you let them know your allotted time for testing which is two hours.

An acceptable proctor may be:

  • Directors, coordinators, or their representatives at a university or junior college testing, c ounseling, or education services department
  • Registrars, deans, or professors at a university or junior college
  • High-school principals or counselors
  • Certified librarians in a supervisory position
  • A designated representative from your credit union league

Fees associated with testing are the responsibility of the registrant. Be sure to consult your proctor and testing facility about such fees in advance. For further information about the testing for this course please call (800) 356-9655, ext. 4079.
